That corresponds to an R value of 3.6 (1/U). Our passive house windows can have up to R 12 ratings.

Thermal imaging proves it: the red areas show where heat is lost. The more red is shown, the higher the heat loss through the individual building components. To help prevent this, dual seals are standard on all windows and doors. We also use energy rated installation materials to guarantee ratings for complete openings.
