This ensures buildings in the coastal hurricane regions can have an extra layer of protection and can meet the new hurricane requirements that have been implemented in the wake of the most recent natural disasters.

These pictures were taken during testing at ETC labs in Rochester, NY. To simulate hurricane damage an eight foot long 2"x 4" wood beam impacts on the center of a 49 sqare foot Henselstone Window with the speed of 50 feet per second.

The window withstands the violent impact without penetration. In the following cycle test the broken window withstands 9,000 wind pressure cycles without failing.
